This Historic Home was built in the early 1900’s. Totally renovated, with all the charm of New Orleans. Our New Orleans Creole shotgun home is very spacious with new furniture, hardwood floors throughout, Serta brand mattresses and an adorable and completely private upstairs master bedroom with seating area and full bathroom.
Full of southern charm with modern, brightly-colored New Orleans themed decor, our Bywater vacation rental makes a great place to rest after a day of exploring New Orleans, but is also a cozy home with a large kitchen and patio for hanging out with friends and enjoying your down time.
The living room has 12-foot high ceilings accented by bright white trim and molding and original hardwood floors. There is plenty of room to seat everyone with a sofa and two accent chairs gathered around a decorative fireplace and a 55″ Smart TV above the mantle.
The roomy, family kitchen, located at the back of the house, includes a large fridge. There is a propane stove and oven, coffee pot, blender, microwave, and plenty of pots and pans and dishes for a large breakfast or dinner if you decide to eat in.
Off the kitchen, you’ll find the full-size bathroom and a laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer leading to our outdoor patio with charcoal grill.
Walking through the shotgun house, you’ll find the front bedroom with a beautiful Queen-size bed with thick, Serta mattress, a soft and gorgeous duvet, and plenty of plump pillows. Storage includes a roomy closet and dresser.
A little nook holds a daybed with trundle.
Upstairs you’ll find the master bedroom with a new king-size mattress, TV, and seating area plus a private bath with shower.
The downstairs bathroom consists of a combination tub/shower.
Our guests rave about spending early mornings or quiet evenings sitting in the covered patio. Enjoy grilling up a few steaks on the grill and planning your next adventure in New Orleans or just relaxing and listening to the distant sounds of revelry.
