Once you open the front door to the Gabrielle Grace Manor, you’ll be struck by the 12-foot tall ceilings and original hardwood floors stretching from front to back in our historic creole style shotgun house.
Catch glimpses of the back of the house through the double, french style doors trimmed in bright white molding and accented by beautiful vine scrolling.
Full of southern antebellum charm with modern, brightly-colored New Orleans themed decor, our Bywater vacation home is not only a place to rest between your daily adventures, but a charming home away from home with all the modern amenities you need for a week-long stay.
The living room has 12-foot high ceilings accented by bright white trim and molding and original hardwood floors. There is plenty of room to seat everyone with a sofa, rocking recliner, and two accent chairs gathered around a decorative fireplace and 55″ Smart TV above the mantle.
The roomy family kitchen, located at the back of the house, includes a large fridge (be sure to check inside for goodies when you arrive). There is a propane stove and oven, coffee pot, blender, microwave, and plenty of pots, pans, and dishes for a large breakfast or dinner if you decide to eat in. The dining table seats six.
Off the kitchen, you’ll find the full-size bathroom and a laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer leading to our outdoor patio.
Walking through the shotgun house, you’ll find the front bedroom with a beautiful antique Queen-size bed with thick, Serta mattress, a soft and gorgeous duvet, and plenty of plump pillows. Storage includes a roomy closet and dresser. This bedroom includes a private bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The 2nd bedroom has another Queen-size bed with Serta mattress and luxurious bedding. This room includes a dresser with mirror and plenty of plugs for essentials as well as a TV with cable.
An additional full bathroom with a tub and shower combo is located in the back of the house so guests in each bedroom will have their own bathroom during the night.
Our guests rave about spending early mornings or quiet evenings sitting outside on our fern-filled back courtyard. Enjoy multiple seating areas and outdoor dining either under the patio or out among the plants. Cook up burgers on the charcoal grill or just relax and listen to the distant sounds of revelry – you are in New Orleans after all!
